Cornus

Cornus is a deciduous tree (. It belongs to the angiosperms, in the Cranioid family.

In a study carried out by researchers of the University of Thessaloniki, it was found that the helmets are of significant nutritional value, as they are rich in antioxidants while their total antioxidant capacity is higher than any other fruit with which they were compared.

Cornus are a rich source of vitamin C, a source of vitamin E, they contain strong natural antioxidants, they contain zero fat and cholesterol and can be eaten raw, salads, sauces and they become an excellent jam!!
